- penguins = penguin, Spheniscidae, pingvin, Pinguin, pingouin, pingüino = Flightless birds (sea-fowl) of southern hemisphere with wings developed into scaly flippers with which they swim under water.
- penguins african = Spheniscus demersus, African penguins, Jackass Penguins, Black-footed Penguins, Brilpikkewyn, Inguza, Unombombiya, Manchot Du Cap, Pingüino Del Cabo = Also known as Jackass Penguins because of their love-call like a donkey's bray, these are adapted to the heat and found on the South African coast, eg at Boulders Beach near Cape Point.
